Kitten On a Window Sill
In 2021, I had the opportunity to create a piece for the Pawcasso Art Gallery auction fundraiser in Milwaukee, WI to raise funds for local animal shelters.
The piece is an 8"x10" charcoal and graphite pencil drawing on archival paper.
This is the source image I created by pasting the head of one kitten onto another. This image provided the source for the main outline tracing.

The tracing was then transferred from the tracing paper to the final paper using the old makeshift graphite-paper method.

The tools used were soft and hard charcoals and different hardnesses of graphite pencil. Other tools included various erasers and smudgers.
